About LOVEBURNS®

The Genesis

Founded in 2017 amid the cultural zenith of the SoundCloud rap movement, LOVEBURNS® originated as a raw, subversive experiment in wearable art. Founder Travis McCluskey began by hand-painting graphic expressions onto rudimentary Gildan blanks, distributing them directly through high school corridors. The brand rapidly crystallized its chaotic ethos when Travis partnered with his high school confidant Mark—then ascending musically under the moniker "Jumex." By synthesizing Mark’s raw, unapologetic sonic energy with Travis’s counter-culture aesthetic, the duo engineered a disruptive phenomenon, translating volatile subculture into tangible fashion.

Propelled by deliberate, viral counter-marketing and uncompromising consistency, the brand achieved global velocity by early 2019. By summer, the label was integrated into major cultural touchstones (including Summer Smash and Camp Flog Gnaw), scaling instantly from local garment experimentation to international distribution. Yet, at the absolute apex of this momentum in 2020, a creative schism led to a sudden hiatus, and the brand went dark.

The Transcendence

In 2026, LOVEBURNS® reemerges, intellectually and spiritually matured. The foundational paradigm has entirely shifted.

The brand is now profoundly anchored in Christ, transitioning away from the transient, melancholic nihilism of its youth to explore a higher calling. Rather than dwelling in passive despair, the creative focus has evolved into a disciplined conduit for channeling complex human emotion into sacred, purposeful iconography.

Consequently, the ethos of LOVEBURNS® has been radically redefined. It no longer signifies a heart consumed by anguish or internal desolation. Instead, it serves as a testament to an eternal, metaphysical truth: that the radiant energy of infinite grace and divine love burns perpetually—undiminished, absolute, and constant like the sun.
